About Our Venue
St Lukes Episcopal Church is as steeped in rich local history and has existed as long as Altoona itself. This former Church complex has been a staple in the community for the past 170 plus years . The complex is now home of the Cooks Family Foundation nonprofit in conjunction with the newly formed St Luke's Cultural Center. This is a versatile complex can host a wide variety of events.
The breathtaking Sanctuary can host a variety of events from traditional worship services, weddings and funeral services as well as organ, piano, small orchestral, and vocal performances.
The Versatile Social Hall can be used for theatrical performances with a full stage, vocal and dance performances, dinner theater, or as an event hall with flexible seating up to 300. The gymnasium features a full size basketball court with bleacher seating and an auxiliary party room with a full commercial kitchen. This is perfect for kids birthday parties, informal social gatherings, pick up basketball games or a home base for after school programs.
In addition to all of the large spaces there are additional auxiliary rooms available for corporate meetings, after school activities and much more.
